Jehovah's Witnesses

I had a number of attempted meetings I may have mentioned in church with a Jehovah's Witness named Joyce, one of which was Tuesday, August 18th, 2009. Each has fallen through, until now - I am to drive to her house in 15 minutes and we're going to study the Bible together. Prayer would be appreciated even after the fact! Thanks, --Peter

Another Meeting

I am going to meet with Joyce again today at 2:00pm, although she insists on studying through Watchtower material. Please pray that God will open her eyes to see His truth instead of the Jehovah's Witness curricula filtering it. I am going to try to share as much as possible my personal testimony of Jesus healing and guiding me, which contrasts with her more structured beliefs. Thanks, --Peter

Update

I will be meeting with Joyce's son, Rick, at the park at 11:00am tomorrow. He's bringing a friend named Kevin. I hope to show them evidence for the deity of Christ and for the Trinity in the original language of many passages in Scripture that we disagree on. Joyce seemed not to be open to any further study without the Watchtower material, but I discovered that Rick seems to have an open mind to objective study in the original language. Praise God for this, and please pray that He'll work through this new avenue to His glory. Thanks, --Peter

Please remember the

Please remember the Wolseiffers and he Brunos this week. Jim and Caranita Worseiffer are serving with their daughter, Stephany Bruno, and her family in southern Italyl Pray for open hearts and doors in the often difficult field. So many are very set in very old ways.
